What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at Youth Mentoring Services of Niagara County, Inc.?
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Program Implementation (80%):
- Serve as Site Supervisor for school holiday and summer programs
- Implement lessons focused on teaching children ages (7-9) and (10-13) social and emotional skills
- Adjust existing lessons to better fit the needs of individual groups
- Train other employees, interns, and volunteers how to successfully mentor small groups of children
- Complete and analyze evaluations that drive instruction
- Keep meticulous records of improvement, attendance, growth, and areas of need
- Write reports, data analysis etc. about programs you facilitate
Administration Work (10%):
- Assist in daily office work such as generating reports, marketing programs and events etc.
- Assist in writing grants for funding when necessary
- Other duties as needed, assigned by the CEO
Community Outreach (10%):
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers
- Collaborate with other employees to put on events such as our school supply and holiday programs, and charity golf tournament
- Serve as brand ambassador at local non-profit meetings
- Maintain connections to our community agency partners
- Represent the program to Board of Directors as requested
Minimum Bachelor's degree is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
