· Develop and manage a portfolio of approximately 100–125 donors and prospects, creating individualized strategies that move supporters through the donor pipeline and increase giving over time.

· Leverage events, site visits, briefings, and other engagement opportunities to deepen donor relationships and introduce prospects to Youth INC’s work.

Strategy and Leadership

· Represent Youth INC externally with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm for its mission and the youth-serving nonprofit sector.

· Contribute to a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and inclusive Development team culture focused on sustainable revenue growth and strong donor experience.

Donor Communication, Portfolio Management, and CRM Administration

· Create compelling donor communications, proposals, impact updates, and stewardship materials that connect supporters to Youth INC’s mission, programs, nonprofit partners, and citywide impact.

· Conduct regular portfolio review and pipeline analysis to identify opportunities for upgrades, renewals, and new major gift solicitations.

· Maintain accurate donor records, contact reports, moves management plans, gift projections, and next steps in the CRM to support data-informed fundraising.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or commensurate professional experience.

· 4–7 years of relevant fundraising, nonprofit development, donor relations, or relationship-management experience, including at least two years of frontline fundraising experience.

·  Demonstrated success cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors or prospects, preferably at the major gift level.

·  Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, board members, volunteers, or senior organizational leaders preferred.

·  Comfort using CRM systems, donor databases, and fundraising metrics to track progress and inform strategy.

·  Experience in youth development, education, nonprofit capacity building, philanthropy, or New York City’s nonprofit sector is a plus.

·  Collaborative and inclusive working style, with a commitment to equity, belonging, and Youth INC’s mission.

·  Entrepreneurial mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
