You'll show exemplary responsive care, while demonstrating classroom management skills, lesson planning and developmentally appropriate practice.

Youth In Need has been around since 1974 helping to create safe places for the area's most vulnerable children. We have more than 400 full- and part-time staff who serve more than 8,000 children, teens, and families at nearly 100 locations in six counties in Eastern Missouri.

This Position:
We are interested in Preschool Teachers with a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Early Childhood education or Child Development from an accredited college/university. A related degree will be considered with at least 36 hours in ECE/Child Development. If you do not have this degree, we will support you in obtaining a CDA Credential.
We're looking for someone with 3 years' experience working in a Head Start Program or a licensed community childcare program, preferred.

Driver's License and ability to be CPR certified are required.
This is an hourly position, starting at $22.14hour with the required CDA credential or equivalent or $16.29/hour prior to obtaining the required CDA credential or equivalent.
