Job Details

General Summary: 

This position works under the direction of the Utilization Review & Records Compliance Director.  Maintains record compliance by utilizing the electronic medical records system, including document library, record requests, and reporting. This is a safety sensitive position.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Creates, maintains, and schedules treatment plan calendar and treatment plan reviews for PRTF.
  • Facilitates the admission process by assigning staff relationships, caseload, groups, and scheduling required assessments for PRTF and QRTP programs.
  • Maintains a list of Arkansas PASSE clients and their tier expirations. Works in conjunction with Arkansas' independent assessment entity in getting tier reassessments scheduled in a timely manner. 
  • Assists in uploading scanned documents into client ECR's (Electronic Client Record) as necessary.
  • Completes technical audits for all new PRTF admissions no sooner than 14 days post admission.
  • Completes any additional duties assigned by Utilization Review & Records Compliance Director. 
Qualifications:

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal skills; ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, licensed associates and the general public
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Basic understanding of calculation of figures for use in patient statistics and accounting and billing procedures; reasoning ablity

 

Work Experience &/or Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. General administrative experience and knowledge of a variety of intermediate to advanced computer applications required. Administrative experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

Team members are required to sit, stand, talk, see, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must maintain a current tuberculosis skin test. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
