Position: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Location: Reidsville NC 27320/remote hybrid position
Job Type: Part Time (8-10 hours per week)

Qualifications/Experience:
Masters of Science in Nursing, with Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis, from accredited college or university.
Experience (2) years of experience related to the above describe duties working with children/adolescents/families.
Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Document appropriate clinical information in the medical record in a timely manner including but not limited to:
- Provide psychiatric health services, education, counseling and emotional support.
- Electronically prescribe medication prescriptions in accordance with treatment guidelines.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits and reasonable outcome expectations.
- Document recommendations of services, current medications and discontinued medications with rationale. Indicate diagnosis for which medication is being prescribed and order necessary labs if needed.
- Perform similar or related duties as assigned or required.
- Ensure professional licensure stays current, NC Tracks account is active, and work with credentialing manager to ensure credentialing stays up-to-date.
- Respond to all internal and external emails in timely manner.
