Job Description
- Partner with the Lead Clinician in managing the clinical program.
- Collaborate with department leads, participate in interviews, and support workflow improvements.
- Act as liaison with ORR partners, DHUC MHBST, and other external stakeholders.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of DSS and ORR policies.
- Contribute to ongoing policy and procedure development.
- Supervise up to 8 therapists, providing clinical and administrative guidance.
- Lead weekly supervision meetings and support professional development.
- Oversee case assignments when requested.
- Monitor and support therapists with documentation, communication, and compliance.
- Co-facilitate case elevation meetings and model interdepartmental communication.
- Participate in Evaluation Team and Federal Staffing discussions and clinical decision-making.
- Perform assessments, diagnoses, and mental health evaluations.
- Facilitate 504 meetings and develop Individualized Section 504 Service Plans per ORR Policy Section 3.8.
- Carry a limited caseload if needed, including individual, group, and family therapy.
- Provide timely mental health input for Case Reviews.
- Submit required HHS Clinical Numbers.
- Offer board-approved supervision for licensure-track clinicians when applicable for no remuneration.
- Attend mandatory trainings and remain informed of updated policies.
- Provide coverage during Lead Clinician absences.
- Support alignment with DSS and ORR standards.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Master’s Degree and licensure (LMHP) to provide counseling services or on a licensure track.
- Demonstrated ability to work with adolescents and families in a counseling setting and function within an evaluation team format.
- Ability to assess treatment needs and deliver appropriate interventions.
- Ability to maintain all required documentation.
- Fluent in English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills
- Professionally facilitate counseling functions as they apply to our milieu of care.
