Role Description
This role is a volunteer opportunity for a Youth Engagement Coordinator, is a remote job, from anyone passionate about bringing clean energy awareness at the grassroot. The coordinator will be responsible for organizing and implementing youth engagement programs and initiatives, fostering partnerships with youth organizations, facilitating communication between young stakeholders and policymakers, and contributing to the development of educational resources on just energy transition. Additional duties may include managing youth events, leading workshops, and ensuring that youth voices are represented in energy policy dialogues.

Qualifications
- Experience or skills in Youth Engagement, Youth Programs, and Youth Development to effectively empower young individuals and foster community involvement.
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a liaison between youth and decision-makers and to deliver impactful outreach initiatives.
- Knowledge of Education and facilitation techniques, including preparing learning materials and conducting workshops or training sessions.
- Proven ability to work within diverse and dynamic teams.
- Familiarity with climate change, energy policy, or sustainable development is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage but not mandatory, provided there is relevant experience and skills in youth engagement initiatives.
