Position Summary
The Zeeland Campus Life Director is a position that requires spiritual and organizational leadership skills, the ability to work with and through other people, and strong communication skills. S/he must embrace and build a team that embodies YFC’s Cultural Attributes: Christ-centered, enduring humility, relentless trust, courageous faithfulness, joyful camaraderie, and kingdom inspired diversity. S/he will seek to implement relational ministry actions to develop Authentic Christ-Sharing Relationships with young people within the context of their YFC ministry model.
Essential Functions
Direct Ministry with Students - 60%
Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of Youth for Christ USA is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, and in that regard to make, educate and encourage life-long disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of Youth for Christ be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.

Essential Functions
Direct Ministry with Students - 60%
- Weekly practice of the Campus Life relational ministry actions (RMAs): Contacting, Building Times, Appointments, Small Groups, Core, and Club
- Participation in strategic trips and events related to Campus Life
- Training, meeting with, and recruiting adult volunteers, as well as participants in community support and prayer teams
- Strategically plan and implement specific RMAs (Relational Ministry Actions)
- Foster a strong, collaborative partnership with area churches and ministries
- Establish and develop programming materials and train ministry leaders in the implementation of curriculum and programming materials
- Nurturing personal support via your network
- Communication with donors - thank you notes, monthly letters, etc.
- Participates in WMYFC’s “See the Story” and “Be the Story” process
- Ministry and financial reports (weekly ministry reports, etc.)
- Preparation for meetings, events, clubs, etc.
- Participate in annual Employee Performance Evaluation
- Trainings and individual investments (regular supervisory connection)

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three years of ministry experience
