Holt Campus Life is looking for passionate, consistent adults who want to invest in the lives of high school students.
Campus Life is a ministry of Youth for Christ (YFC), a nationwide organization dedicated to reaching young people with the hope of the gospel. We have Campus Life clubs in Holt, Grand Ledge, Waverly, Dewitt, and Lansing City Schools. Please still reach out if interested in serving but at another location than Holt. As a Campus Life volunteer, you’ll join a team that creates safe, welcoming spaces where teens can build authentic relationships, explore faith in a safe environment, and feel truly known and loved. You’ll be a steady presence at weekly gatherings filled with fun, engaging activities followed by meaningful conversations about real-life issues. Volunteers also have the opportunity to partner with the school by showing up at student events, lunches, and games—meeting teens right on their turf. In addition, volunteers can join students on life-changing Spring Break and Summer trips that deepen relationships and create a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build authentic relationships with students
- Attend and assist at weekly Campus Life meetings on Monday nights
- Be a consistent and caring presence throughout the school year
- Optional yet highly encouraged: Support at retreats, trips, or events
What We're Looking For:
- A passion for impacting teenagers and a desire to walk alongside them through life’s challenges
- A deep love for the gospel and a desire to lovingly share it in ways that resonate with teens
- Consistency, reliability, and commitment to showing up
- Team players who are open, teachable, and willing to grow
- No formal ministry experience required — just a willingness to show up and love well :)
