Position Summary

Essential Functions [Including, but not limited to...]
Marketing Leadership Assistance (50%)
- Serve as an assistant in organizing YFC’s campaigns for external audiences with comprehensive responsibilities including copy writing and editing, layout support, staging and analytics monitoring with concentration on follow-up.
- Serve as an assistant for a coordinated print and social media campaign to be executed on all YFC’s channels. This includes: email, printed newsletters, receipt content, Instagram, Facebook and blog for the YFC website.
- Campaign Strategy and Creation: Assist staff as they create, write, and stage plans that will be executed across all channels.
- Assist the Development Director and Community Outreach Coordinator in promoting involvement with churches and community partners.
- Write, memorize and be ready to share personal testimony and YFC involvement origin story with community and partners.
- Participate in events according to the established development calendar. Preferred assignments to event tasks focused on creative, communication and marketing.
- Documents such as event summaries, logistics maps and action plans will be required according to projects procedures.
- Contribute to a team environment where YFC’s cultural attributes are fully realized and work support is easily given.
- Develop new and existing relationships with potential and current community partners and venues.
- Be accountable for scope/quality, timeline and cost expectations of projects and tasks.
- Responsible to document lessons learned and provide updates to documents in advance of future or concurrent event cycles.
- Mitigate risk through coordination with the Risk and Legal team. Record and mitigate identified risks accordingly. Mitigate risk through contracting procedures.
- Abide all deadlines and procedures
- Complete routine tasks (task list documents, use of systems, performance review, budgets, etc.)
