Description

• Must have basic knowledge of food preparation.
• Accepts food deliveries and logs the type and quantities.
• Ensures proper food-handling requirements are met.
• Sets up the serving line in a neat and orderly way.
• Operates all equipment in a safe manner.
• Works closely with the assigned students to ensure kitchen and dining room areas are clean.
• Ensures the correct portion of meals is served.
• Assists in proper food storage.
• Ensures all safety rules in the kitchen and dining room are followed.
• Provides quality customer service to the students that we serve at all times.
• Participates in teamwork between students and staff; including interdepartmental teamwork.
• Monitors area of responsibility to ensure timely and high-quality services.
• Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulation, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.
• Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices.
• Participation in PRH mandated staff training is mandatory. Failure to participate may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

One to three months related experience and/or training.

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or equivalent combination and experience

NRA Food Service Sanitation or equivalent/Safe Serve. Valid State Driver’s License.
