The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) is seeking to hire two Part-Time Adult Education Instructors to provide instruction to students enrolled in YEP Educates, our High School Equivalency programming.
These positions will help YEP maintain our current daytime instructional capacity while also expanding our ability to offer evening classes for adult learners who are unable to attend during traditional business hours. We anticipate making two hires whose combined availability allows us to effectively support both our daytime and evening instructional offerings.
Typical class schedules include:
- Daytime classes: Generally between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM

The projected hours for this scope of work below may vary based on the required tasks and are anticipated to range between 10 and 25 hours per week. Please note that these hours are approximate estimates, and there is no assurance of a specified minimum workload.
Because we anticipate making two hires for the same position, we are seeking applicants with a variety of availability. We encourage applications from candidates who are available during the day, the evening, or both. Our goal is to build a staffing schedule that best meets the needs of our students and programming.
As we evaluate candidates, we will prioritize individuals who demonstrate strong instructional skills, a commitment to supporting adult learners and YEP’s mission, as well as availability that aligns with the scheduling needs of the program.
