Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Career Advisor based on-site in Miami, FL. The Career Advisor will guide individuals in their career development and career management journey by providing personalized counseling and support. Daily tasks include helping clients explore career options, developing actionable plans, conducting workshops, and assisting with job search strategies. The Career Advisor will work closely with clients to assess their strengths, skills, and goals to foster professional growth and employment readiness.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in career advising, including Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management
- Experience in Student Counseling and supporting individuals in career planning
- Effective Communication skills to engage with diverse populations and deliver clear guidance
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities suitable for managing client relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or a related field
- Familiarity with the challenges faced by youth, immigrants, or refugees is a plus
- Proficiency in a second language is an advantage
