What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Social Worker position at Youth and Family Programs?
Youth and Family Programs is seeking to hire a full-time Social Worker to join our dynamic and supportive team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fun, collaborative atmosphere while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families involved in foster care.
Job Duties:
- Carry a caseload and coordinate services for children and their families.
- Work with biological families, foster families, and county social workers.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and document detailed case notes.
- Support foster parents with client-specific needs.
- Monitor or supervise visits as needed.
- Attend Family-Centered Team Meetings (FCT, CFT, TPM, FARE, FPM, etc.) as well as additional county or school meetings.
- Follow all confidentiality laws and procedures at all times.
- Complete SAFE Home Studies and annual re-certifications.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree (or currently working toward one) in a related field:
Social Work or Social Welfare; Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling; Child Psychology; Child Development; Counseling Psychology; or Social Psychology.
- Positive attitude and a sense of humor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, and dependable.
- Committed to doing the right thing and making a positive impact.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
