Corporate Quality Manager - Packaging
We’re looking for a data-driven Quality Manager with experience leading both people & systems for our client in Wisconsin. This is a corporate-level role.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of experience leading people (a team of 10) and systems, including coaching & development
- Dedication to excellence and a continual focus on customer service with a servant leader mindset.
- Packaging or Labels Industry experience
- Proven experience working with Customers, Suppliers & Operations
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action methodology
- Working knowledge of statistical methods
- In-depth understanding of quality control procedures
- Familiarity with ISO9001 certification is a plus
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills quickly and effectively.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
EDUCATION: BS in Quality, Engineering or Material Science
RESPONSIBILITIES Include:
Lead and develop the Quality team; develop, implement, and maintain effective quality control processes and standards to ensure customer product requirements are met; and drive continuous improvement.
- Review and improve the quality program in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations
- Lead the Quality team, including Engineers, Analysts and Technicians.
- Perform statistical analysis to drive decisions and priorities.
- Lead problem-solving efforts using Root Cause Corrective Action methodology.
- Perform internal quality audits, monitor data trends, and identify opportunities to reduce risk, increase efficiency, and improve existing quality processes.
- Travel to customers and suppliers as needed to gain first-hand knowledge (10%)
- Lead internal training on quality standards and expectations
- Reports directly to the Technical Director.
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
