What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Site Manager position at Your Storage Units - Cocoa?
We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our self-storage facility with a willingness to perform light maintenance around the facility. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with strong customer service, sales, and facility management skills; though we are willing to consider any candidate who is willing to learn and grow within the industry!
The base pay does not include commission earned from each Move-In you secure during your shifts, giving you an opportunity to make more than your hourly!
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist tenants with inquiries, rentals, and payments.
- Maintain accurate records of leases, payments, and tenant accounts.
- Oversee facility maintenance, cleanliness, and security to ensure a safe environment.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and coordinate necessary orders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management, retail, or customer service.
- Strong sales, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in property management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of facility maintenance and security procedures.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
