As a Shift Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests while helping lead our team to success. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Train and mentor team members to maintain high standards
- Manage inventory and ensure quality of ingredients
- Lead shifts with confidence when the GM is not present
- Write and communicate daily shift lineups
- Ensure teams are using daily checklists and following up on tasks
- Continuously evaluate team performance and make adjustments to set up the shift for success
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure cash drawers and deposits are accurate when opening or closing
- Prepare menu items accurately and efficiently
- Occasionally place orders for next-day deliveries
- Take 100% ownership for product quality and service standards
- Maintain portion sizes, prep methods, and kitchen policies
- Keep stations stocked and clean to support smooth service
- Present food with proper plating and garnishes
- Store and rotate products correctly
- Assist with food prep during off-peak hours
- Help train both new and current team members
- Support restaurant scheduling and planning with the GM
- Attend all team meetings and bring ideas for improvement
Qualifications:
- No formal education required—just a passion for pizza and people
- Available for day and night shifts, including weekends
- Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
