We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Kenton, OH! This is a part time position, work hours will be Monday 10-2, Tuesday 10-2 and Wednesday 10-1 with an option for Thursday as needed. This vital role ensures the smooth operation of daily office activities, providing exceptional support across administrative, clerical, and customer service functions. Duties
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office software
- Handle filing, photocopying, proofreading documents, and organizing office supplies to ensure a tidy workspace
- Support calendar management to stay on task for each days assingments
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software to track expenses and invoices
- Limited need to provide customer support by responding to inquiries via phone or email with excellent phone etiquette and professionalism
Skills
- Proven experience in office management, clerical work, or administrative roles with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial record-keeping so that invoices can be organized to send to our accountant
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy; ability to perform data entry swiftly and precisely
- Knowledge of office procedures including filing systems, proofreading documents, calendar management, and time management techniques
- Proficency in the use of a lap top and all it's functions
