Summary
We are seeking a Dental Patient Coordinator to join our team at Your Neighborhood Dentist. This role is essential in managing patient interactions and ensuring a smooth experience from scheduling appointments to handling medical billing. The Patient Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting our mission of delivering exceptional dental care.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations efficiently.
- Assist patients with Dental billing inquiries and insurance claims.
- Coordinate communication between patients and dental staff to enhance the patient experience.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the system.
- Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of dental experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Patient Coordinator in a dental setting.
- Strong knowledge of Dental billing processes and insurance claims handling.
Work Hours:
- Monday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Tuesdays/ Thursdays: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
And/ OR
- Alternating Fridays (Admin Day): 9:00 AM-1:00 PM OR
- Alternating Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Software We Use:
- Open Dental
- Weave (phones & communication)
- Dental Intel (paperless forms & consents)
- Dexis, Romexis, Trios and Itero (Digital X-rays)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
