Job Title: Direct Support Professional
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home or community-based setting
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills and community integration
- Assist with transportation to appointments, outings, and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism, dementia, or other special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening
