Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 24 foot box truck to complete daily delivery routes
- Load and unload goods using equipment like pallet jacks, handtrucks and 4 wheel dollys, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Deliver products directly to customers’ homes, verifying order accuracy and obtaining signatures when required
- Navigate route driving efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
Skills
- Must be fluent in speaking english
- Attendance is a must, we need reliable drivers for this postion
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on customer service
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, moving, and equipment such as pallet jacks
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks preferred
- Knowledge of route planning and route driving strategies for efficiency
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving items, and extended periods of driving or standing
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $800.00 - $1,149.32 per week
