We are seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to fill our Regional Lab Coordinator role assist with labs and phlebotomy training for our Walterboro patients and staff. The Regional Lab Coordinator supports the organizations laboratory operations at the regional level. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate lab draw coordination, timely result processing, and efficient communication with providers and care teams. The coordinator serves as the point of contact for lab-related workflows in their assigned region and ensures alignment with company-wide laboratory protocols.
This position will be traveling to patients' homes, facilities and clinic settings throughout the Walterboro area. This is a full-time, salary-based 8-hr position (8:00AM-5:00PM) (Monday-Friday).

What Are We Looking For?
Your Health is currently looking for a Regional Lab Coordinator to join our growing primary care family. A successful Regional Lab Coordinator will be able to perform these essential duties and responsibilities. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track lab draw requests across the assigned region in alignment with provider orders.
- Ensure accurate documentation of lab orders, collections, and results within the EHR system.
- Confirm timely delivery of lab specimens and escalate delays as needed.
- Maintain weekly reporting on lab draw volumes, turnaround times, and common barriers.
- Notify providers and care teams of pending lab results or required follow-ups.
- Serve as the liaison between providers and the laboratory team to troubleshoot issues.
- Monitor provider cases related to labs and support closed-loop follow-up processes.
- Support onboarding and training of new clinical staff on lab protocols in coordination with the
- Reinforce best practices for proper lab specimen collection, labeling, storage, and documentation.
- Participate in monthly lab update calls and ensure dissemination of new procedures or
- Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of lab-related documentation to identify and correct errors.
- Participate in regional quality improvement initiatives tied to lab services.
- Work closely with the Director of Lab and other Regional Lab Coordinators to standardize workflows.
- Attend regional operations meetings and share lab-related performance metrics and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with regional management and care teams to streamline lab operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in phlebotomy preferred.
- 2 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical or laboratory setting.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned region as needed.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to manage and demonstrate effective leadership skills.
- Should demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills under all conditions and circumstances.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc. Must be a
licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or
organizational requirements and is in good working order.
