About the Company: Your Family Fertility is a well-established, growing medical practice seeking an accomplished Assistant Controller to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in both accounting and payroll within a healthcare environment.
About the Role: The Assistant Controller will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with healthcare and tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including A/R, A/P, Billing, Bank reconciliations, and General ledger.
- Manage and process biweekly payroll for clinical and administrative staff; ensure compliance with all healthcare and tax regulations. Payroll, Time and Taxes are processed by Paycor Company.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets management reports.
- Assist with tax preparation, filings, and year-end audits.
- Support the Controller in maintaining internal controls, compliance, and financial accuracy.
- Partner with management to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency.
- Assist with physician compensation analysis, benefits accounting, and departmental cost tracking.
- Help manage overall functions across HR, Payroll, and Medical Billing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (BS required).
- CPA certification preferred.
- Strong tax and payroll knowledge required, healthcare payroll experience a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a medical or professional services setting.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, QuickBooks online and Medent for Electronic Medical Practice.
- Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with healthcare accounting.
