Laundry Attendant (Full Time, MUST have weekend Availably)

The Laundry Attendant will process linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe manner, and the brand’s standards to achieve and maintain guest satisfaction, while embracing the values of the Company Culture and Guiding Principles.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning linen and terry daily according to operational policies and standards.

• Sort out stained linen for soaking and re-washing.

• Set damaged linen aside to be discarded.

• Operate washers and dryers according to load limits and type of linen being laundered.

• Fold, stack, hang and store all laundered linen and terry.

• Transport clean linen to linen closets and retrieve dirty linen from floors is necessary.

• Assist with monthly inventory.

• Check laundry chemical supplies.

Requirements:

• Working in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations.

• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company associates to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate. 

• Requires strong attention to detail.

• Must have open availability work weekends and holidays.

Physical:

• Move, transport, put, install, remove, replace, position, place, and transfer. 

• Move about or to, position self. 

• Operate, adjust attach, position, set up, handle, tend to activate, apply, measure, use, modify, input, compile, retrieve, make, create, collect, inspect, prepare, service. 

• Stand for extended periods of time.

• Ability to bend, lift, kneel, and be in motion for the full day. 

• Must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
