Overview
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician & Liaison (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or Associates) with already established clinical/hospital connections to drive immediate client acquisition and deliver field-based care in Greater Houston. You will leverage your existing network of hospital discharge planners, ERs, physicians, and community partners to quickly build agency caseloads
Key Responsibilities
- Referral Pipeline: Activate your current network of hospital discharge planners, psychiatric units, pediatricians, and ISDs to drive client intakes from day one.
- Medical Outreach: Partner with Houston health systems (TMC, Memorial Hermann, Harris Health, HCA, Texas Children's) for acute step-downs.
- Intakes & Clinical Care: Conduct diagnostic evaluations, safety planning, and deliver field-based therapy, CPST, YES Waiver, and HCBS-AMH services.
- Compliance: Complete audit-ready clinical notes (BIRP/SOAP) per Texas HHSC/Medicaid standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Network (Required): Must have pre-existing, active relationships with Houston-area hospital discharge planners, ER staff, psychiatric facilities, or outpatient physician groups.
- Licensure: Active Texas LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or Associate (LPC-A, LMFT-A, LMSW) with board supervision.
- Clinical Skills: Expertise in intakes, crisis de-escalation, safety planning, and Texas Medicaid programs.
- Other: Driver’s license, reliable transport, background check. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
