- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs, customize menus, and ensure satisfaction throughout the event planning process.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Supervise kitchen activities such as cooking, food handling, and food safety compliance in line with industry standards.
- Utilize POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity.
- Plan shift schedules and manage staffing levels to meet fluctuating demand during peak catering periods.
- Ensure adherence to health regulations and safety protocols across all catering functions.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure quality ingredients and equipment for events.
- Maintain detailed records of event logistics, budgets, and operational reports for continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven management experience in food service management or hospitality management roles within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment.
- Extensive culinary experience with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes.
- Demonstrated supervising experience in a restaurant or catering setting with a focus on team management and staff development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong background in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within the food industry.
- Experience coordinating large-scale catering events or banquet services in casual dining or hotel environments.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications relevant to the hospitality industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with a track record of ensuring client satisfaction during events.
