We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to provide vital upgrades and refinement on YouNow’s backend and video cloud infrastructures that broadcasters and their audiences use daily. Because the core of user interactions happen in real time it is critical that our infrastructure runs smoothly, and as efficiently performance and cost wise as possible. You will be crucial in ensuring our users have an enjoyable experience while using the platform and in facilitating an environment where development, testing, releases and production work can proceed securely, efficiently, and flexibly. QualificationsEnglish fluency5 years of experience as a DevOps engineerExperience with networking, properly architecting high availability systems, and security in an AWS contextExpertise in Kubernetes or more specifically EKS and TerraformHands on experience with various AWS products and services including Redis, DynamoDB, Redshift (PostgreSQL), Aurora (MySQL), EC2, Elasticache, WAF, DMS, Cloud formationFamiliarity with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines through tools such as ArgoCD and JenkinsUp to date understanding of best practices regarding system security measuresExperience upgrading existing infrastructure design and componentsPHP/Python/Node.js development experience is huge plusQualities of an Ideal CandidateCritical thinking, analytical and problem solving abilitiesClear written and verbal communicationAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyOwnership over own and team’s performanceProactiveness and initiativeAttention to detailGive a sh*tLooking forward to collaborating together! https://www.younow.com/
