Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms and office spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, sanitization of surfaces and trash removal
- Conduct routine janitorial duties like restroom sanitation, sinks, toilets, mirrors, floor and surface disinfecting to uphold health standards
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Perform other duties as assigned by Cleaning Supervisor and/or School Business Administrator
Qualifications
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
