Success Coach

Position Summary
Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries is seeking a full-time, motivated and mission-driven Success Coach to support individuals as they build skills, overcome barriers, and achieve meaningful employment and personal stability. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about workforce development, coaching, and helping people reach their full potential.  This position will require frequent travel and be based out of our Youngstown, OH, location.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching to participants focused on career readiness, goal setting, and employment success

• Assess participant needs and develop individualized career and success plans

• Support participants with job search strategies, resume development, interview preparation, and workplace retention skills

• Connect participants to internal programs and community resources to address barriers to employment

• Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and outcomes in accordance with program requirements

• Collaborate with internal teams, employers, and community partners to support participant success

• Track progress toward employment and retention goals and provide ongoing follow-up and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 18 years old

• Ability to pass a criminal background check(s)

• Valid driver's license w/ no more than 5 points on license 

• Experience in career coaching, workforce development, case management, or human services preferred

• Strong interpersonal, motivational, and coaching skills

• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying employment barriers

• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications and case management systems
