Job Description
Overview
Our client is seeking two experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developers to support the design, development, customization, and integration of D365 F&O across the enterprise. These roles will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance finance, supply chain, and operational functionality within the D365 platform.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, customize, and enhance D365 Finance & Operations modules using X , .NET, and associated tools.
· Build and maintain integrations between D365 and other enterprise applications (REST, OData, Azure services, etc.).
· Develop custom extensions, workflows, forms, reports, and data entities.
· Participate in solution design sessions, providing technical guidance and best practices.
· Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues within D365 F&O.
· Support system upgrades, patches, and release management activities.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
· Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and adherence to development standards.
· Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specs and deployment instructions.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new features, capabilities, and tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Required Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
· 3–5 years of hands-on development experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX 2012 with upgrade exposure).
· Strong proficiency with X , extensions model, and D365 customization framework.
· Experience with integrations including OData, REST APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Dataverse, and other Microsoft cloud components.
· Solid understanding of D365 F&O functional areas (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, AR/AP, GL, etc.).
· Experience with SSRS, electronic reporting (ER), and data entity creation.
· Knowledge of SQL Server, data structures, and performance optimization.
· Familiarity with Azure DevOps version control, pipelines, and release management.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
· Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
· Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with D365 F&O upgrades, migrations, or multi-entity implementations.
· Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
· Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 F&O or related modules.
