Carpenter

$22-$25/hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks involving physical labor at the construction site.
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber for slabs on grade, suspended slabs, columns, and vertical slip formed walls.
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
• Read blueprints, take measurements, and calculate size and amounts of material needed.
• Operate hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, pneumatic nail guns, SkilSaws, miter saws, etc.
• Assist other craft workers.

Requirements:

• Verifiable experience as carpenter and working with carpentry materials.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
• Good understanding of basic math.
• Must be able to meet physical demands of construction work.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• May include other duties as needed.
• Must abide by ALL of the company's field safety rules.

• Slipform concrete and equipment installation experience preferred.

• Pre-employment, post-offer drug screen and physical required.
