Outdoor Lighting Installation Technician
Younger Outdoor Lighting is a family-owned outdoor lighting company serving Franklin, Brentwood, and the surrounding Williamson County area. We specialize in high-quality landscape lighting, architectural lighting, bistro lighting, outdoor audio, and system maintenance.
We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Outdoor Lighting Installation Technician who takes pride in doing quality work and providing excellent service. Experience is helpful, but character, reliability, and a willingness to learn are most important.
Responsibilities
- Install low-voltage outdoor lighting systems
- Dig trenches and properly bury low-voltage wire
- Install and position path lights, uplights, well lights, and other fixtures
- Assist with mounting transformers, timers, and lighting controls
- Make waterproof wire connections
- Troubleshoot and repair existing lighting systems
- Adjust fixtures to achieve the desired lighting effect
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
- Maintain a clean, organized work van and jobsite
- Protect clients’ landscaping and property while working
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Take jobsite and completed-project photos when requested
- Follow company installation standards and safety procedures

- Able to pass any required background or driving-record checks
Experience with landscaping, irrigation, electrical work, construction, low-voltage systems, or outdoor lighting is valuable but not required.
Schedule and Compensation
- Full-time position
- Typical schedule: Monday through Friday
- Starting pay based on experience, skills, and demonstrated responsibility
- Opportunities for pay increases as technical skills and leadership responsibilities grow
- Potential advancement into a Lead Outdoor Lighting Technician position
Growth Path

- Waterproof wire connections and electrical fundamentals
