What are the responsibilities and job description for the Precast Concrete Laborer position at Youngblood Excavating & Contracting?
Precast Product Solutions is looking for eager, energetic individuals for their precast facility. This role would assist in the set-up, pouring and finishing work for different types of molds and forms of precast concrete products.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare work area by cleaning, setting up or disassembling concrete forms
- Smooth and level freshly poured concrete surface
- Strip out concrete products from forms
- Clean forms and structures
- Operate machinery such as fork lifts to move finished products
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Ability to weld
- Use of hand and power tools
- Effectively communicate with supervisors and other crew members
Requirements:
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Basic math skills
- Consistently work 8-10 hours a day
- Valid ID and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel or squat for long periods
- Ability to lift 50 plus pounds regularly
