Truck and Trailers in Logan, Utah is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truck and Van Upfit Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, modifying, and customizing commercial trucks and vans to meet customer specifications. Responsibilities:
- Install aftermarket equipment such as ladder racks, shelving, toolboxes, lighting, hitches, and liftgates
- Perform electrical wiring for accessories and auxiliary systems
- Modify vehicle interiors and exteriors based on upfit specifications
- Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and installation instructions
- Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hydraulic systems, welding, and metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
- Previous experience in automotive, mechanical, or upfitting work preferred
- Basic electrical knowledge and wiring experience is a plus
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- CDL or ability to obtain is a plus (not required)
