HAZMAT Field Technician (General Laborer)

Job Responsibilities
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
- Manual labor tasks such as shoveling, pressure washing, and sweeping
- Assist HydroVac Operator in hydroexcavation, trenching, etc.
- Lift, carry, and pull hoses (up to 100 lbs)
- Operate light and heavy equipment (skid-steers, forklifts, vac trucks, oil boom, etc.)
- Work in all weather conditions
- Assist with emergency response projects as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work site
- Complete daily paperwork and reports accurately
Requirements
- Must pass a drug and alcohol screening (including marijuana) per federal regulations
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
- (Chauffeur's license a plus)
- Satisfactory background check (evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
- Ability to pass HAZWOPER and/or DOT physical (DOT if license requires)
- Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
