HAZMAT Field Technician (General Laborer)

Job Responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
• Manual labor tasks such as shoveling, pressure washing, and sweeping
• Assist HydroVac Operator in hydroexcavation, trenching, etc.
• Lift, carry, and pull hoses (up to 100 lbs)
• Operate light and heavy equipment (skid-steers, forklifts, vac trucks, oil boom, etc.)
• Work in all weather conditions
• Assist with emergency response projects as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work site
• Complete daily paperwork and reports accurately

Requirements

• Must pass a drug and alcohol screening (including marijuana) per federal regulations
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
• (Chauffeur's license a plus)
• Satisfactory background check (evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
• Ability to pass HAZWOPER and/or DOT physical (DOT if license requires)
• Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
