Young Rembrandts continue to grow and we're looking for responsible and passionate teachers! We are looking for someone to teach at several locations in Tucson, Vail and Marana.
Young Rembrandts is a nationally recognized & award-winning after school drawing program. Our structured, step-by-step drawing curriculum encourages children to express their imaginations while improving motor skills, patience, focus, and ability to stay on task.
Young Rembrandts is seeking:
- Responsible and passionate individuals in teaching elementary aged kids
- Energetic and enthusiastic individual
- Experience working with children
- Had the responsibility for motivating groups of children while guiding children's behavior
Young Rembrandts will provide paid training to qualified instructors in the Young Rembrandts' methodology and teaching technique. We also provide all drawing lessons, supplies, and materials to you.
Training starts soon, so please contact us today for more information. We are hiring teachers for the new school year 2025-2026! Young Rembrandts offers classes in public and private elementary schools at the end of the regular school day.
Perfect for retired teachers, artists, college students, gigsters/part-timers and/or internships.
You must have:
- Solid experience teaching in a classroom environment,
- Reliable transportation,
- A cellphone and an active e-mail account that you can access easily and often,
- Own or have easy access to a printer.
- Must obtain a DPS Clearance Card (background/fingerprint check). There is an upfront fee for the card.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Young Rembrandts curriculum tailored to the interests and skill levels of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, supportive space for all participants.
- Provide individualized support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with the Young Rembrandts team and staff to enhance the educational experience and address any concerns.
This is a minimal part-time position (2-8 hours per week). You must be available from 1 pm to 5 pm and you are expected to teach 3-4 one-hour classes each week. Once again... this is a minimal part-time position but is a fun and VERY rewarding position for those who love art and working with children! We are providing students with the quality art education they need.
