POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direction of the Deaconess Aquatic Center Facilities Director, the full-time Maintenance/Housekeeping personnel is responsible for ensuring a high level of cleanliness, sanitary, and attractive facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Adhere to policies related to boundaries with youth.
- Complete required abuse risk management training.
- Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
- Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
- Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities.
- Ensures unused rooms and closets remain locked; routinely monitor high-risk locations (locker rooms and bathrooms), etc..

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have an outstanding work ethic, dependable, task focused
- Have an attitude of caring, and service
- Understand the importance of Housekeeping has to the mission of the YMCA
- Must be able to pass the Certified Pool Operator Exam
- CPR/AED, First Aid, Oxygen and Blood Borne Pathogen training required within 60 days of employment.
- Child Abuse Prevention training required before/on first day of work.
Salary : $14 - $16
