Required Trainings: In order to work for the YMCA this summer, all day camp hires are required to attend all assigned summer day camp trainings. At the Y, we believe that training is an essential component of running a safe and engaging youth development program. All required training is paid. Additional training and on-site program prep will also be required.

Qualifications:
What We Are Looking For:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Passion for working with elementary and middle school children in a recreational enrichment setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for all
- Eagerness to contribute to a diverse and inclusive community
- Ability to attend all pre-camp trainings and development session
- Current YMCA approved CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire. (We offer paid CPR/First Aid/AED courses all summer!)
