POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage our public image through social media platforms, actively engage businesses and organizations for sponsorship, foster and grow current partnerships and donations. Work with web-page studio to keep all website information accurate and current.
SCOPE:
- Must be able to produce strategically directed media content targeting potential members, partnerships, and sponsorship to grow YMCA financial capability and community impact potential.
- Promote the YMCA mission and image through media platforms.
- Produce photos and videos of Shawnee YMCA events, activities, programs, equipment, members, staff, and property to utilize for online marketing and to post on Shawnee YMCA media platforms.
- Must be able to travel to meet with potential partners and/or sponsors, and attend local promotional and outreach events.
- Assist with marketing efforts and be creative in marketing YMCA services, events, and programs online.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Five years of experience in a media production/management position.
- Must have excellent computer acumen and ability to professionally manage social media and other online platforms used in organizational promotion and public exposure.
- Must be self-managed and capable of successfully completing the scope of duties with little, or no supervision.
- Must possess skills, physical ability, and knowledge required to successfully manage the above scope of duties.
