What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Fitness Instructor position at Young Men's Christian Association of Central Virginia?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Group Fitness Director, Water Fitness instructor responsibilities include preparing for and leading Water classes. Good interpersonal and verbal skills are needed to drive the Association and Center objectives of improving the acquisition and retention of members. The ability to learn in a fast-paced environment and work in a team setting with both staff and volunteers is a must. The Water Fitness Instructor should have the ability to apply creative problem-solving to ensure member satisfaction and retention, and have the ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
