The Treasure Valley Family YMCA is seeking an HRIS Analyst to join our Association. This position is a Human Resources professional responsible for the hands-on administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the organization’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS). The role requires a strong foundation in human resources processes, policies, and best practices, along with practical experience managing HR systems that support the full employee lifecycle.
This is not an IT role. The HRIS Analyst operates within the Human Resources department and applies HR expertise to ensure the HRIS accurately reflects organizational policies, supports efficient HR operations, and delivers reliable data for reporting and decision-making. This position partners closely with HR leadership and HR functional teams to support the Association’s mission and overall community impact.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrator for the organization’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate configuration, maintenance, and day-to-day functionality.
- Apply knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and best practices to configure HRIS workflows, rules, and processes that support the full employee lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential employee data, ensuring data integrity and appropriate system access controls.
- Configure and support HRIS modules related to employee records, job and position management, compensation, benefits administration, time and attendance, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, and user interface design (dashboards).
- Develop, produce, and analyze standard and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards to support HR operations, leadership reporting, and organizational planning.
- Partner with HR leadership and HR staff to evaluate current HR processes and recommend system improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Provide HRIS support, guidance, and training to HR staff and managers, including development of documentation and job aids.
- Test, validate, and implement HRIS system updates (patches, releases), enhancements, and configuration changes to ensure continuity of HR operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- At least two years’ hands-on HRIS management experience required, including direct administration and configuration of the HRIS system.
- UKG experience strongly desired.
- Use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that arise.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position and has the potential to be primarily remote with a weekly in office partnership.
