Position Overview:
The Sr. Staff Accountant supports the business by performing essential tasks such as preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, as well as any other ad hoc projects as needed. They ensure accuracy and compliance with financial reporting, maintain detailed records, and provide support for audits. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting overall business operations.

Who you’ll work with:
- This role has broad exposure and partnership across the business – finance, manufacturing sites, IT, Marketing, etc.
What You’ll Do:
- General Accounting
- Prepare and enter monthly journal entries and perform month-end close activities
- Compile and maintain consolidated balance sheet reconciliations for multiple companies, including supporting documentation
- Prepare monthly subledger reports and reconcile associated general ledger accounts
- Review, investigate, and correct accounting errors or inconsistencies in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Corporate Policy
- Process monthly intercompany transactions within the ERP system
- Set up and maintain supplier information, projects, and fixed assets within the ERP system
- Clear outstanding checks between the bank and ERP system
- Support accurate system configuration and data integrity across accounting modules
- Compliance Support
- Provide supporting documentation to third parties for sales and use tax activities
- Assist with tax preparation, documentation, and returns on a monthly and annual basis
- Work with
- external auditors to provide requested information and explain transaction activity for assigned areas
- Process Improvement & Special Projects
- Work with accounting management and IT to modify, document, and implement accounting controls
- Identify opportunities to improve general accounting processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support acquisition-related accounting activities, including account mapping, policy alignment, and month-end close integration
- Participate in enterprise-wide, cross-functional projects as needed
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting
- 5 Years of professional related experience in Accounting
- International accounting experience a plus
- Knowledge of US GAAP standards
- Manufacturing background strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain accurate financial records that adhere to compliance requirements
- Demonstrates high level of problem-solving abilities
- Ability to function in multiple ERP systems with granular detail
- Strong communication skills with external and internal parties
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position at the time of posting. Within the range, the compensation will be determined based on education/training, skill set, experience, and other organizational needs.

Office/Remote Environment
This position is based in an office environment and is primarily sedentary in nature. It requires regular use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Some roles may involve wearing a headset and sustained computer use for 8 or more hours per day. Employees may be required to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, and occasional bending, lifting, or carrying items up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
