Service Porter

We are actively seeking a motivated Service Porter / Driver to be an integral part of the service department. We are seeking candidates who are dedicated, reliable, and can contribute to our ongoing success. As a Service Porter, you will be responsible for assisting the Service Department in managing vehicles and ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This is a fast-paced and customer-focused role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Drive customer vehicles to and from the service bay as needed.
• Assist with moving and parking vehicles in the service department.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and organized within the service area.
• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service department and surrounding areas.
• Perform light maintenance tasks, including checking tire pressures and fluid levels.
• Provide assistance to technicians as needed.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a variety of vehicles, including manual transmission, and follow all safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Previous experience in an automotive setting or as a porter is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
