Young Custom Builders LLC is growing and looking for dependable, hard-working carpenters who want to build a real career in residential and commercial framing We have fast-paced framing crews that take pride in quality, production, and showing up ready to work every single day.
We frame new homes, additions, tall walls, roof systems, decks, and structural layouts. This is hands-on physical work. You will be lifting lumber, working at heights, climbing walls and roofs, and working outdoors in Iowa heat, cold, wind, and snow. If you are looking for an easy job — this is not it.
We are looking for individuals who want to learn a skilled trade, grow their income, and become leaders on the jobsite. The more you produce and the more you learn, the more opportunity you will have here.
Requirements:
- Show up on time and ready to work
- Valid transportation is REQUIRED
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy material and work at heights
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must bring basic hand tools (hammer, tool bags, tape measure, speed square, etc.)
- Framing experience preferred — willing to train motivated beginners
Pay & Benefits:
- $17–$30 per hour depending on experience and production
