Relationship-Centered Caregiver

Young Concierge Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate caregiver to join a small, carefully selected team dedicated to raising the standard of care in our community.

This is not a traditional agency position.

Young Concierge Care is a concierge-style private-duty caregiving service built on the belief that care is not one-size-fits-all. We focus on personalized, relationship-centered support that helps seniors maintain independence, dignity, purpose, and quality of life while aging at home.

Minimum Qualifications

✔ Minimum 2 years of private-duty caregiving experience required

✔ Active CNA certification and/or caregiver certification required

✔ Current CPR certification required

✔ Valid driver's license

✔ Reliable personal vehicle

✔ Proof of active automobile insurance coverage required

✔ Ability to pass criminal background screening

✔ Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening

✔ Three professional references required

✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✔ Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment

✔ Professional, dependable, and trustworthy

✔ Comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs

✔ Comfortable around small, medium, and large breed dogs

✔ Must genuinely enjoy animals and understand the important role pets play in many clients' lives

Availability Requirements

✔ Open availability for day shifts and evening shifts

✔ Flexible schedule based on client needs

✔ Ability to provide reliable and consistent coverage

Responsibilities

• Companionship and meaningful engagement
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and outings
• Personal care assistance
• Meal planning and preparation
• Recovery support and wellness monitoring
• Light housekeeping and household support
• Pet care assistance including feeding, walking, transportation, companionship, and maintaining established pet routines
• Appointment accompaniment

Nutrition & Wellness Expectations

The ideal caregiver understands that nutrition plays an important role in healthy aging, recovery, and overall wellness.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals tailored to client preferences, dietary needs, and physician recommendations
• Assisting with grocery shopping and meal planning
• Encouraging hydration and healthy wellness habits
• Creating enjoyable mealtime experiences that support quality of life
• Understanding that meals are often about more than nutrition—they are about comfort, routine, connection, and joy

Life Enrichment & Quality of Life

At Young Concierge Care, we believe quality care extends beyond physical assistance.

Many of our clients have hobbies, gardens, beloved pets, favorite places, and routines that contribute significantly to their happiness and sense of purpose. Caregivers should be willing to actively engage clients in the activities they enjoy whenever appropriate.

A Message From LeAnn

I founded Young Concierge Care after years of working in healthcare, caregiving, and as a live-in caregiver. Throughout those experiences, I saw firsthand that many families were looking for something more personalized, proactive, and relationship-centered than traditional care models often provide.

I am not looking for someone who simply wants hours.

I am looking for someone who genuinely believes that care is not one-size-fits-all and understands that helping someone age well involves far more than completing a checklist.

Many of our clients consider their pets family. They value their gardens, hobbies, routines, favorite restaurants, community connections, and the simple things that make life meaningful. The right caregiver understands that preserving those things is often just as important as assisting with daily tasks.

My goal is to redefine how people think about caregiving in Huntsville by elevating the standard of care and helping seniors continue living with dignity, purpose, connection, and joy.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
