Position Summary:
The Service Department Cashier is responsible for driving customer retention by offering a polite and professional conclusion to the service experience. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the growth of the dealership's service operations. This is a full-time position that also includes a rotating Saturday schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
The Service Department Cashier is responsible for driving customer retention by offering a polite and professional conclusion to the service experience. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the growth of the dealership's service operations. This is a full-time position that also includes a rotating Saturday schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting payment in card, cash, or check form.
- Understanding and applying customer coupons and GM Rewards.
- Making change accurately and maintaining an accurate and balanced cash drawer.
- Assisting customers in the waiting room with questions and/or concerns.
- Operating scanning system to scan closed repair orders into the dealership database
- Assist in dispatching drivers to pick up customer vehicles, dealer trade vehicles, parts, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Clean driving record and background check.
