Duties
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning.
- Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and bathroom breaks, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Engage children in play-based learning activities that stimulate creativity, social skills, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
- Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and needs to inform individualized support strategies.
- Foster positive behavior management techniques to encourage cooperation and respect among children.
- Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring they feel valued and included.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Ability to provide basic first aid and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families.
