Responsibilities
- Install aftermarket equipment such as ladder racks
- shelving
- toolboxes
- lighting
- hitches
- and liftgates
- Perform electrical wiring for accessories and auxiliary systems
- Modify vehicle interiors and exteriors based on upfit specifications
- Read and interpret work orders
- diagrams
- and installation instructions
- Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hydraulic systems
- welding
- and metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
- Previous experience in automotive
- mechanical
- or upfitting work preferred
- Basic electrical knowledge and wiring experience is a plus
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- CDL or ability to obtain is a plus (not required)
