Responsibilities
- Parts Warehouse Associates will: Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly and professional and efficient manner
- May require selling parts to all internal and external customers over the counter through the shop or on the phone or may entail pulling orders
- Reports to work on-time and as scheduled
- Maintains a good driving record and is considered “insurable” by our auto insurance carrier
- Communicates with internal and external customers in a respectful and courteous manner at all times
- Drives safely and courteously at all times
- Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts
- Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership
- Ensures that areas of the parts department are properly stocked and organized
- Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash - sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily
- Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when part has been replaced
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated stable work history with good references
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- 1 year related experience and/or training
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
- Able to pass background and drug screening
