Responsibilities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing and sanitizing as needed
- Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff with basic food handling and prep duties
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld by following proper sanitation procedures and food handling protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or quick service in elderly setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting, balancing multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
